Personal Information
My name is Liang Siyuan. I am a fourth-year undergraduate student in the School of the Gifted Young at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), studying probability and statistics. I also minor in computer science and technology.
My research interests include machine learning, stochastic optimization, and the theoretical foundations of deep learning and large language models (LLMs). Drawing on my mathematical background, I am also interested in AI for mathematics (AI4Math). I enjoy studying probability theory and algebra as well.
In September 2027, I will begin my PhD studies in artificial intelligence through a joint training program between USTC and Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI) in Shenzhen. I will be supervised by Prof. Difan Zou at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Prof. Junwei Su at USTC.
